Second half of the 19th century, America. 1) "The Knitting Lesson" by Currier & Ives, slight fading and minimal toning, very good overall, 18" x 15-1/4" (sight). "The Knitting Lesson" is house in period Victorian walnut frame with gold liner, matted under glass, 24" x 21". 2) "Preparing for Market" by N. Currier, color print commemorating the 100th Anniversary, The Mutual Life Insurance Company, 15-1/2" x 18-1/2", mounted on cardboard under a hinged mat. 3) "The Old Homestead" by N. Currier, overall soiling and light toning, slightly faded, good condition, 11" x 15-1/2" (sight). 4) "A Mansion of the Olden Time" by Currier & Ives, cleaned and with strong vibrant color, very good, 10-1/4" x 13-3/4" (sight). 5) "Fruits of the Season" by Currier & Ives, water stains present throughout margins and slightly visible proper right side throughout the edge of work, 9-1/2" x 13-1/2" (sight). 6) "Fruit Piece" by Currier & Ives, generally very good with slight foxing in margin and light toning, 9-1/2" x 13-1/2" (sight). Numbers 3 through 6 are housed in a molded metallic gilt wood frame matted under glass, 17-1/4" x 20-1/2".
