The highlight of this great lot is a wonderful Merwin Hulbert and an engraved Meridan Firearms top break. All six guns are nickel plated and are in fine or better original condition. Gun (A) is a Hopkins & Allen No. 5 five shot, single action spur trigger revolver with bird's head walnut grips. This revolver is in the least condition of all but still retains 75% original nickel with brown patina and age freckling. Excellent grips. Indexes correctly with a fine bore. Gun (B) is a Hopkins & Allen Safety Hammerless five shot, double action. Retains 95% original nickel and near mint black composite grips. Indexes correctly with a fine bore. Shows no signs of having been fired. Gun (C) is a Merwin Hulbert five shot with case colored trigger guard and black composite grips. 95% or better original nickel with light storage wear. No signs of having ever been fired. Gun (D) is a Meridan Firearms Co. five shot, double action revolver with full factory engraving and nickel plating, and a pair of black composite grips. Retains approximately 95% original factory nickel. 90% blue on trigger guard. Near mint grips. Fine bore and action. Gun (E) is a Forehand & Wadsworth Model 1901 five shot, double action with case colored hammer and black composite grips. Retains 98% original nickel. Case colored hammer. Small crack on left grip panel; easily repaired. Fine bore and action. Gun (F) is a Spanish copy of a Smith & Wesson Top Break and is called the "Secret Service Model" with five shot, double action and pearl grips. 80% original nickel. Gunked up with cosmoline and needs a thorough cleaning.
