The Model 39-A was a modernized version of the Model 1897 Marlin take down lever action rifle. It features: a 24" round barrel, tube fed full magazine, hooded ramp front sight, sporting leaf rear sight, pistol grip walnut stock with fluted comb, black composite buttplate over sized bullseye in butt. Metal has a few storage scuffs, but still retains 95% original factory blue finish with excellent stocks. Fine action, and shine bore. One of the most reliable lever action 22 rifles ever offered.
