Seldom do you see this model with so much brilliant blue still on frame. It is thinning at base but the sides and top retain 90% of the brilliant Winchester factory blue finish. Barrel has edge and muzzle wear but still retains 90% or better original finish with razor sharp edges and legends. Magazine is basically soft patina with traces of blue. Walnut stock a grooved forearm are excellent to near mint, proud to metal with a few slight impressions. Buttplate is a blue-brown patina. Has an added Marble's tang sight. Standard features include full octagon barrel, white bead front sight, folding leaf Marble's rear sight, 2/3 magazine, grooved forend, takedown and rifle buttplate. Mirror bore and fine action. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
