Features: full octagon barrel, rocky mountain front sight, sporting rear sight, rust blue finish on barrel, high polish blue on frame, case colors on lever and buttplate, walnut stocks, brass cartridge counter, walnut forend has typical Schnauble. Sports a king tang sight. Octagon barrel has razor sharp edges and legends with 95%+ original finish. Bottom of frame has some freckling, hint of flaking on bridge but still retains 95% brilliant factory blue. Bright case colors on side of lever. Traces of blue on buttplate. Walnut stocks are excellent. Strong rifle bore. Most desirable of all standard savage rifles are those that have a combination of an octagon barrel with the Winchester calibers, combined with high polish finish and perch belly stock. From the G.
