A Belgian pre-WWII Venezuelan contract M24/30 bolt action short rifle in 7mm Mauser. A near mint, unissued rifle with over 95% of the original blued finish. Metal parts "in the white" have a think coat of cosmoline, which may be easily cleaned off. Butt plate is also "in the white," with a cosmoline coating and blue screws. Bore is near mint, and stock is excellent with several dings and scattered marks. Receiver, bolt and stock have matching numbers. Other parts are unnumbered. Receiver has Venezuelan crest on top. No import markings are visible. Includes correct bayonet in scabbard is unissued near mint condition with cosmoline on blade.
