The No. 4 Rolling Block rifle was introduced in 1890 and manufactured until 1933, and was Remington's smallest rolling block. Features blue round barrel, post front sight, sporting leaf rear sight, case colored frame with walnut stocks and smooth blued metal buttplate. Barrel retains approximately 95% original blue with a few areas of age freckling and some minor storage marks. Frame retains virtually all of the brilliant case colors. Stocks are excellent to near mint. Strong, clean, near mint bore and fine action. As with all boy's rifles, most have seen heavy use while this one has spent most of its life sitting in a closet. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
