The Third Model Deringer is often referred to as the Thuer Model. Both of these pistols have British proof marks under the barrel as they were cased and sold in London. In addition, the side of the frame is stamped with numbers "K68" and "K69". Both guns are in near new condition inside and out with nearly all of the blue finish on barrel and nickel on frame. Even the screws have most of their fire blue finish. Features bird's head grips and spur trigger. Housed in an English style oak case with small oil bottle. Beautiful set of early Colt Third Model Deringers with lots of condition. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
