Manufactured from 1860 to 1873 with 2,000 total made. Features blued octagon barrel, blued five shot mushroom percussion cylinder, blued frame, double action, German silver trigger guard and black checkered composite grips. Later model with pinned front sight. Frame has flaked to 10% balance patina. Cylinder has flaked to 75%. Indexes perfectly with strong bore. Housed in a period wooden case with an unusual small flask, unmarked brass two cavity bullet mold and a Peters No. 2 primer tin. Scarce gun with nice display box. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
