Features five shot, single action, octagon barrel, blued and case colored, plated backstrap and trigger guard and one piece walnut grips. Full or partial matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder pin, wedge, trigger guard, backstrap and cylinder. Cylinder has the stagecoach robbery roll engraving, fully visible with traces of bright blue, original nipples and safety pins are flat. Barrel has about 50% of the bright high polish blue, balance flaked. No colors on lever. Frame is basically grey patina. Most plating intact on straps. Fire blue on screws. Fine rifled bore. Action works properly. Housed in a wooden case with Colt eagle flask, fire blue screwdriver, two cavity Colt's Patent brass bullet mold and Eley Bros. cap tin. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
