Enfield Model No.4 MK (T) British sniper rifle in .303, manufactured by "M47" (BSA Shirley) in 1945. Rifle is in good condition with approximately 55-60% original arsenal finish. Bore is very good. Stock is also very good, with scattered light dings and handling marks. Receiver, bolt and stock are all matching. Stock metal ring on left side has "M47", "TR", serial No. and date of manufacture. Stock has the correct "S51" under the pistol grip. Stock has a scope number stamped on the upper grip, but that number does not match the attached scope. Scope mount has a serial number stamped on the left, but it does not match the rifle serial number. Scope is the correct No.32 MK1, and has about 40% of the original arsenal black finish, and is dated 1944. Optics are fairly clear, and the scope has the correct sniper reticle. Stock has the correct alloy butt plate.
