Gun (A) is a Model 40 that is referred to as the Centennial. It is a blued, hammerless,, five shot, double action with pinned barrel, fixed sights, case colored trigger, grip safety and silver medallion round butt walnut grips. In 1968 they changed to an 'L' prefix and continued until 1974. All steel construction. Gun is as new inside and out with light drag line. Comes in two piece blue box numbered to gun. Gun (B) is a Model 49 manufactured 1973 to 1974. Referred to as the "Bodyguard" it features five shot, double action, pinned barrel, fluted cylinder, fixed sights, blued finish, case colored hammer and trigger, and gold medallion checkered walnut grips. Protected but exposed hammer. Grips are numbered to another gun but are stamped "J" for J Model. Near new inside and out. Comes in a two piece blued box numbered to gun with instructions and tool kit. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
