The Model 1941 Johnson Rifles were serial numbered in blocks of 9999. The first block did not have a letter prefix, the second block had a A prefix, and third block had a B prefix. Which would mean this would be the 26,826 rifle made out of 29,997. They were made by Crainston Arms which is stamped on the right side of the frame. All other numbered parts are simply parts numbers and will not and should not match the serial number. This distinctive looking rifle is a recoil operated semi-automatic rifle fitted with a rotary ten round magazine and half stock with metal ventilated handguard. Its record with the U.S. Marine Core in the Pacific has been well documented. It comes with a parkerized finish, checkered metal buttplate, and an adjustable rear sight graduated in meters. This gun is in excellent condition and does not appear to have seen much use. Rifle has near mint bore and fine action.
