Barrel date is "RA 6-43". Offered is an all original World War II mid-war sniper rifle. Has the tell-tale offset serial number. Front sight was never installed and still parkerized. Has the original parkerized finish, pressed steel small parts, "C" stock. "FJA" with Ordnance wheel stamped on left side (Frank Atwood). Also has a stamp on left side of stock "RIA EB" which is another rebuild inspection stamp. Rifle is topped with parkerized Redfield mounts and rings and an M84 blued rifle scope. Wrist is double stamped "P". 98% arsenal finish. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 1.5.
