Gun (A) is a Smith & Wesson Model 66 which is referred to as the Combat Magnum Stainless. It is a six shot, double action, stainless steel, K target frame, three screw, round butt that was produced from 1970 to 2004. Also features red ramp front sight, target rear sight and gold medallion checkered walnut grips. It is housed in its original matching number two piece blue box with instructions and tool kit. Gun (B) is a Smith & Wesson Model 19 manufactured 1958. The Model 19 is referred to as the Model 357 Combat Magnum. It is a blued, six shot double action revolver built on the square butt K target frame with four screws. Features a Baughman quick-draw front sight, adjustable rear sight, case colored hammer and trigger, and silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips. Pinned and recessed. Introduced in 1955, making this a very early example. Aside from a light drag line this revolver is in near new condition inside and out. This gun is housed in its original blue two piece box with original instructions and cleaning set. The serial number listed on the end of the box is "K318858" instead of "K318658" and was probably an error as all other numbers are correct. These early, high polish Smith & Wesson model 19's are getting extremely collectible and this is a fine example. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
