1) China. The jar in bulbous form tapering to a short cylindrical neck with flared top rim, 16" tall x 17" diameter. Incised design decorating the body under a lightly applied celadon glaze. In very good condition. 2) Han Dynasty, China. The figure, with traces of polychrome, has an ax in one hand and a snake in the other, 32" tall. Head is removable. There is possible restorations and wear typical of the age.
