This pre-war first Generation Single Action Army features six shot, single action, blue and case colors and Colt black composition grips. The cylinder shows several lines of striations. There is a hint of wear at muzzle, some thinning at bottom of back grip strap but easily still retains 95% of the original factory finish with brilliant case colors, perfect screw heads, fine blue, case colors on hammer. Some thinning to loading gate. Grips are near mint. Inside is like new. Comes in a proper-era box with proper end label. Numbers on bottom of box have been gone over and impossible to tell if the number was originally matching or not; some tape repairs to box. Includes shooting instructions. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection. CORRECTION: Factory Letter states serial No. 338693 was shipped with standard blue/casehardened finish, 5-1/2" barrel in caliber .32-20 in a four gun shipment to Harper & Reynolds Co., Los Angeles, California on January 12th, 1920.
