Both with round removable screw barrels, muzzles engraved with stiff leaf borders and removal lugs mounted on bottoms. Breeches and barrels numbered "1" and "2" on both pistols, undersides stamped with three proofs. Scalloped boxlock actions, the right sides feature ovals inscribed "RIGBY" surrounded by flags and polearms, the other sides marked "DUBLIN" and engraved en suite. One-piece varnished walnut grips with beveled edges and vacant silver oval wrist escutcheons. Actions feature engraved reinforced cocks and sliding frizzen pin/half cock thumb safeties. Folding hidden triggers engage when pistols are cocked. Very good condition, barrels still easily unscrew and retain a grey patina with some dark areas. Actions have excellent markings and crisp engraving, traces of case colors, mostly turned to silver and grey patina. Actions are crisp and function strong and flawlessly. Grips very good with a few scattered light storage marks. A very nice pair of Irish boxlocks!
