Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is a 1938 chamber date S/42 code. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42", correct "(eagle) 63" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. Gun retains approximately 96% of the original factory applied blue. This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. Magazine is numbered 5604. Wood checkered grips with a chip on the left grip. Good bore with sharp lands and grooves.
