Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken Co. for commercial sales in the United States. This is known as the 1906 American Eagle Luger. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety is unmarked, extractor marked "loaded" on the left side, center toggle link marked "DWM" in script and the American Eagle above the chamber. Wide grip safety without a stock lug. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original factory applied rust blue finish with strawed small parts. Checkered walnut with sharp checkering. Nickel magazine with blank wood bottom. A mint original gun. Comes in a fantastic leather bound contemporary case with a box of ammo, pin punch, loading tool. and cleaning rod. Also in the case are two military wood bottom magazines. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
