Barrel has the "PALL MALL LONDON" address. No barrel serial number under rod. Cylinder has British proofs in every flute. The barrel has strong, clean bright rifling and is basically a homogenous patina with bright blue under ejector rod housing. British proof marks under barrel. There is some high polish factory blue in the ejector rod flute. Frame retains 75-80% of the original case colors, some still bright; thinning on top strap, left shield and loading gate. Some nice, strong colors on hammer. Trigger guard has 85% of the original high polish factory blue with some freckling and thinning. Backstrap has traces of blue. Excellent original varnish one piece walnut grips. Frame screws retain the majority of the original fire blue. Cylinder is basically a soft, homogeneous grey patina with some light blue in flutes. Indexes like new with a strong, clean, shiny bore. The leather carrying case is lined in blue felt with wooden cleaning rod, oil bottle, wrench and some original cartridges. The dealer label is "HENRY ATKIN 27 JAMES ST. LONDON". From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
