Offered is a fine condition 3rd Model Dragoon six shot percussion with all standard features to include part round barrel, Texas Ranger roll engraved cylinder scene, brass trigger guard and backstrap, one piece walnut grips. You will fine full or partial matching serial number on frame, barrel, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder, wedge and loading lever. Cylinder retains all original nipples and a nearly 100% scene. Safety pins are present but worn. All legends are razor sharp. The martial inspector mark "G" can be found on left trigger guard and top of backstrap. Overall, the metal has a smooth blue-brown homogeneous patina that has had some finish wiped on at one time. A couple of screws have been reblued. Indexes and locks up tight. Strong rifling with black powder residue present. A very handsome, smooth, blemish-free Dragoon with sharp edges and showing only light wear.
