Matches all specifications in serial number register. Barrels are marked with Parker's famous name, Meriden address and "Titanic" steel on matted rib. Barrel flats are stamped with all correct markings. No. 2 frame fitted with Miller selective single trigger is engraved in typical "D" style with 80% coverage scroll within scroll and geometric borders surrounding scenes of dogs and game; pointing pointer is on left side of action, and pointing setter on right. Four Gallinaceous fowl are on trigger plate. "PARKER BROS" is on scrolled band behind each dog scene. Well veined European walnut straight grip buttstock with likely original Silver pad (newer single trigger is in back position). Stock is of typical "D" styling with lozenge shaped drop points, point pattern grip checkering, and vacant silver oval on toe line. Matching splinter forend with shaped metal tip, has typical Parker release. Very good, as partially refinished. Barrels retain approximately 90% of an old re-black with considerable subsequent spotting and a few marks. Action retains approximately 20-30% original case hardening color. Stocks have most of their original finish, thinned and worn through on high edges of grip, with numerous scratches. Checkering is worn, and has not been re-cut. A small notch has been cut out of nose of comb. Original pad is considerably deteriorated. Bores are very fine to excellent, very lightly frosted. Action is tight. Barrels are on face. Trigger works. A great old Parker.
