Matching serial numbers have been stamped twice inside the grip frame, probably by the engraver or person who fitted the custom two piece ivory grips to this firearm. This revolver features nearly full floral coverage, beautifully blued, lacquered case colors, screws are fire blued. Razor sharp edges and all factory stamps are like new. Indexes and locks up like the day it was made. Strong, clean bore. Does not appear to have been fired since engraved. We cannot find an engravers signature as they usually do a good job of hiding it within the engraving, but is of the master class. Whoever engraved this revolver should have stamped his name in bold letters as it is superbly done and probably the most handsome of the more modern engraved Colts we have in stock. Comes in a purple lined and French fitted black display case.
