Lot contains a P37 pistol made by "jhv" in 7.65mm with holster, German Cross in Gold, German pilot's badge, German veteran's association plaque, German Army buckle, 2 dress bayonets, SA dagger, k98k rifle bayonet, US WWII field gear items, US fighting knife, civil defense helmet, US buckles, and miscellaneous German items. German WWII issue P37 pistol was made in Hungary in 1943 and is marked "jhv" for the manufacturer. Pistol has matching numbers, and is in very good condition with 75-80% of its original finish in uncleaned condition. Bored is in very good condition and will clean up. The correct magazine is in the holster and marked "P. Mod 37". The holster is not the standard issue P37 style, and it marked "D.R.G.M. The German Cross in Gold is in fair condition and made by Zimmerman. Uncleaned with about 50% of its original silver finish remaining. Enamel is damaged near top of swastika. Luftwaffe pilot's badge is made by "C.E. Junker" and has been heavily cleaned with none of its original finish remaining. 2 German dress bayonets in fair condition. One is made by "Eickhorn" in Solingen, and the other is marked "Garantie Stahl". Both have their original nickle finishes with scattered freckling and light marks. Both scabbards have 90% of their original finish remaining, and one has a frog. SA dagger is in poor to fair uncleaned condition with numerous areas of wear to its nickle finish. Bladed is marked "RZM M7/36". Matching k98k bayonet and scabbard with matching numbers is in poor condition. Bayonet is made by "cvl" and dated 1941. Frog is dated 1940. US WWII field gear is dated 1942, 1943, and contains legging, musette bag, tool apron, and fighting knife. Also include is a heavily moth eaten Nazi armband, a German Veteran's Association plaque, a War Merit Cross, green painted Heer buckle, and miscellaneous small items. Lot contains capture papers for the pistol and some information on the veteran's service. An interesting intact US veteran. lot of bring backs.
