This Colt was engraved by master craftsman D.W. Harris of Texas and signed on butt. It has all matching numbers. The gun is completely engraved is the so-called "Cattle Brand" style made famous by Harris's mentor Cole Agee. Features nearly complete coverage, full nickel plating and fitted with a pair of beautiful aged ivory right side steer head carved grips. Cylinder shows no signs of burn and appears to have been unfired since the custom engraving was performed. The polishing work prior to engraving has taken out the barrel address and most of the patent stamps on left side of frame. Indexes and locks up like new. Strong rifled bore with some residual roughness. A truly beautiful cowboy gun by a Colt master engraver.
