There are full or partial matching serial numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder post, cylinder, trigger guard, backstrap, loading lever and wedge. This early revolver has been well cared for. The octagon barrel and cylinder retain approximately 90% original blue finish. Still has all five safety pins. Loading lever has patterned out. Frame has traces of case colors on right side. Hammer has patterned out. Straps retain approximately 90% of the original plating. The varnished one piece walnut grips are near mint and fit perfectly. Fine, clean and strong bore. Indexes and locks up like new. Razor sharp edges and sharp legends. Complete cylinder scene. the blue is so sharp and complete at 90% or better and rarely do you see a cylinder that has any blue at all, much less at 90%, Extremely difficult to find in this condition. From the Jim Linton Collection.
