This Hartford address Pocket Model is about as nice as they come condition-wise. The roll-engraved stagecoach scene on the blued cylinder is like new and still retains 90% of the Colt high polish blue finish with original nipples intact safety pins, albeit somewhat worn down. Full octagon barrel retains fully 90%+ of the Colt factory bright blue mirror finish. The loading lever and frame retain the majority of their original case colors, most of which is still bright. Traces of case colors on hammer. 30% original plating on straps, most of which is under trigger guard and top of backstrap. Screws have nearly all of their Nitre blue. Event the trigger still has the majority of its fire blue. Near mint bore and action. It is truly amazing to see this much fire blue, especially on the cylinders which usually flake immediately. From the Jim Linton Collection.
