Stock stamped with rack number "54" on top of comb in front of buttplate tang. Complete with original steel ramrod and U.S. marked triangular socket bayonet. Nice Type II with excellent markings. Very good, shiny bore with a few minor spots. Barrel retains much original polish with some filled pitting around nipple and bolster at breech. Otherwise, a few scattered marks from use. Lock mechanism is very crisp and strong, retains mostly bright surface with some areas of grey freckling. Furniture is excellent with some areas of minor grey spotting. Stock very good, inspector's cartouches are crisp, scattered marks from use overall and some minor splintering at the front trigger guard tang.
