Flat polished steel blade with partial false edge and decorated etched panels on both sides. The left panel features foliate scrolls and a humming bird, the other shows a hunter with a bird and fowler. Relief chased guard with flowers on each side of both quillons. Boar's head pommel with chased details. Fluted horn grip wrapped with three strands of braided copper wire. Complete with brown leather scabbard featuring brass mounts and a hanger. Drag has an applied relief cast and chased tiger's head. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Blade retains much of the original polish with a few areas of light grey spotting and marks from scabbard. Brass retains a mellow patina and shows little wear. Grip is excellent, scabbard has a few scattered nicks. A very nice and elaborate hunting knife.
