Circa 1880-1890, the circular half-round bowl chased with birds in flowering trees and foliage between four stiff leaves continuing from incurved legs with paw feet and bolted to a slightly domed base with similar floral chasing and a plain rim; small reserve on the body engraved with a coat of arms and crest. Marked under bowl "S. Kirk & Son. 11 OZ". Height: 9-1/2".
