Standard features include heavy round barrel, flat top, Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, six shot, double action, checkered trigger, checkered backstrap and Colt silver medallion walnut grips. Barrel is stamped "OFFICERS MODEL HEAVY BARREL". Grip screw is replaced and incorrect. Grips are near mint. Aside from light drag line, the right side of the revolver appears near new with all of its original Colt finish and fire blue screws, unfortunately on the left side there are seven areas where the finish appears to have simply flaked off due to poor storage. You can plainly see the revolver must have rested on this side. As new condition inside and out and one of the finest shooting revolvers ever made and will still shoot superb groups, even with the flaking. Comes in a proper box with proper end label, that is a little on the rough side but all aprons are present. Includes shooting instructions.
