Swedish Mauser M96/38 carbine in 6.5x55mm, manufactured by Mauser Oberndorf in 1900. Rifle is in good condition with approximately 50% original finish. Bore is good condition with some pitting near muzzle. Walnut stock is also good, with numerous dings and scattered light marks throughout. Receiver, bolt assembly, front bands trigger guard assembly, and butt plate have matching numbers. Rifle has micrometer rear sight.
