This superb scaled down next to top of the line offering from Connecticut Shotgun has two sets (.410 and 28 gauge) of 28" barrels with slightly raised matted ribs. Model and gauge information is on top left barrels, and breeches are engraved with 2-1/2" triangles of scroll. Breech ends and flats are engine turned. Flats are stamped with serial numbers, gauge and chamber information. Specially made scaled down (baby) action features automatic safety and gold-plated single selective trigger. Action is engraved and gold inlaid in Winchester Model 21 "Grand American" style. Full coverage well cut shaded scroll surrounds Bulino scenes of dogs and game, major subjects gold inlaid; pointing setter is on left side, with pointing pointer on right. Trigger plate portrays a pair of resting pheasant. Portrait of a retriever is on trigger guard bow. "GRAND AMERICAN" is in gold on trigger guard tang. XXXX feather crotch American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14" over checkered wood butt. Stock is "B carved" with Fleur-di-lis and ribbons through fancy checkering pattern. Each barrel set is fitted with its own beavertail forend with inset contrasting wood tip and engine turned internals. Gun is housed in tan leather case with stitched leather corners which has light brown canvas outer cover with brown leather trim. Interior is lined in burgundy cloth and has black and gold CSM label in lid. Case contains cleaning equipment, snap caps, and oil bottle. Excellent, very close to new, appears to have been fired very little, with only a few very light handling and assembly marks in all factory finishes of wood and metal. Mechanically excellent. A classy little gun, this model retails at over $40,000 with one set of barrels.
