This scarce Parker, built on a "0" Frame, was made with 28" twist barrels with unstruck barrel weight of 3lbs 4oz. The gun features a straight top lever opener. The line border engraved action is engraved "Parker Bros." on sides. Trigger plate marked with patent date of March 23rd 1875. Replacement forearm checkered in standard "0" Grade pattern with Deeley release and lightly engraved steel tip. Original stock is currently with the gun and is checkered in standard Grade 0 pattern. The gun is currently mounted with a replacement buttstock that is checkered in a two point pattern with English grip and long trigger guard tang and butt terminates in proper Parker DHBP. CONDITION: Very good overall with receiver having turned a mottled brown color from time, not from neglect in any way. Trigger plate screw has been cold blued. Barrels retain nearly all of an expert quality restored finish and show nearly all of their beautiful twist pattern. Custom stock is excellent with only minor handling marks and retains nearly all of its custom finishes. Original butt is very good with minor handling marks. Bores are good with orange peel throughout. Our consignor had one of the stock making artisans make the second stock for this gun so he could use it on targets and the gun handles and shoots wonderfully!
