Fitted with 27-7/8" barrels, this rare hammer gun has a full length matted rib with brass front bead. The action has a Greener style crossbolt and is lightly engraved with pheasants on both right and left side with scroll engraving towards front of action. Bottom of the action is lightly scroll engraved and there is light floral scroll covering the hinge pin. Buttstock is checkered in two point pattern with ball grip and is mounted with sling swivel and terminates in lined buttplate which appears to be of horn. The gun has double triggers, extractors, and no safety. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Barrels retain about 85% original blued finish with minor thinning. Bores are bright and shiny with only minute roughness ahead of chambers. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain most of their original finish with minor handling marks and impressions. Buttplate shows some worm holes and is very good otherwise. Buy this and you'll surely be the only guy on your street with a 32 gauge hammer shotgun! Lots of folks seek these guns out so that they can win something at Vintage Gunning events.
