American Waltham Watch Co., Waltham, Mass. 52mm pocket watch in an ornate gold filled hunting case. Both sides of the case are beautifully decorated with engine turning and hand engraved floral border surrounds. The front lid has a framed monogram that reads "BK", and the reverse has a framed depiction of a cabin and landscape scene in the center. Two-tone enamel single-sunk dial with gold framed Arabic numerals and applied red jewel half hour markers. Dial is marked: A.W.W.Co. "Waltham". Case marked: "C.W.C.Co. Planet". Movement #6452669, 16s, 7 jewels, circa 1895. Running. Gross weight 112.6 grams. Running. Watch looks to have been rarely used. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
