Full octagon barrel with full magazine, ladder style rear sight, German silver blade on steel base dovetailed at muzzle; standard markings; blued with case-hardened hammer, lever and buttplate; and varnished walnut stocks. Sectionalized cleaning rod in butt. Very early First Model with open top receiver. Excellent as fully refinished. 98% blue and 80% case-hardening intact; excellent stocks with light wear and nicks. Lower tang is assembly number 3253 marked and same number is found in stock mortise as well. A fine example of "Big 76".
