The 1871 Army Rolling Block pistol was made from 1872 to 1888. Only 900 civilian models were made. Converted by a gunsmith to .22 caliber. Features blued round barrel, case colored frame, walnut grip and forend. Forend is numbered 397. Barrel retains 80% thinning blue. Frame retains 75% original case colors, some brilliant. Strap and trigger guard are grey. Function is flawless with a nice bore. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
