Manufactured by Moore's Patent Firearms Company in Brooklyn 1860 to 1865, when this model and company were bought out by National Arms Company and sold to Colt in 1870. Comes with engraved solid brass frame and solid steel barrel, it was the first of the large caliber metallic cartridge deringer pistols. All models are nearly identical from all three makers. No plating on handle and no blue on barrel. Very good bore. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
