This is a third issue six shot double action heavy barrel .38 target revolver that features: high adjustable front sight, nonglare finished flattop frame, adjustable target rear sight, blue finish, checkered trigger, checkered backstrap, gold medallion checkered grips. Aside from a couple light storage marks this gun appears to be near new inside and out. These target revolvers were some of the finest guns coming out of the Colt factory prior to World War II with hand finished and fitted actions. Comes in the correct period box with proper end label, not numbered to this gun. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
