Features six shot, double action, blued finish, checkered trigger and silver medallion checkered walnut grips. The New Service was the largest frame Colt ever built at the time and was the most expensive non-target handgun in the Colt catalog. This particular revolver has a ghost drag line and a hint of freckling at the bottom 1/2" rear of backstrap; 99.9% Colt factory original blue. Appears unfired. Comes in the original box with proper end label and serial numbered to gun. Includes shooting instructions and the original test target numbered to gun. It would be nearly impossible to improve on condition. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
