This pistol appears to be in near new, possibly unfired condition. It is a six shot, double action with exposed single upper hammer and varnished walnut bag handle. All original nipples. The barrel cluster has full flutes, each barrel is numbered and London proofed. The entire ensemble is beautifully case colored retaining nearly all of this bright finish. Frame is plated and fully engraved in English scroll with borders. Right side if engraved "IMPROVED REVOLVING PISTOL". The presentation panel on left side is not inscribed. Hammer is fully engraved and case colored with all of its color. Safety retains 95% of the brilliant Nitre blue. Trigger guard is engraved and retains 90% of its bright high polish blue. Trigger retains nearly all of its bright Nitre blue and shows no use. Stocks exhibit a piano finish. Grip screw and escutcheons are engraved. Gun indexes and locks up like new. Bores are not rifled. This exquisite revolver is housed in a Westley Richards original dealer label case lined in green velvet. Comes with an unmarked copper bag flask, a high polish blued single cavity bullet mold stamped "NO 60", an unmarked ebony handled nipple wrench, small ebony handled cleaning rod and a brass jag. Bullet mold has a built in tamper. One of the most handsome cased London pepperboxes we have cataloged in about near new condition inside and out. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
