Lot includes Colombian contract Madsen Model 47 bolt action rifle in .30-06 Springfield and Italian Model 1891 Carcano bolt action carbine in 6.5mm. (A) Columbian contract M47 was made in Madsen in Denmark ans was procured by the Columbia Armed Forces. There were never placed into service, and this rifle is in near mint, unfired condition, retaining over 97% of the original finish. Bore is near mint. Stock is very good with minor scattered light marks and several dings around trigger guard including a deep gauge on the pistol grip. Columbia crest is inlaid on the left side of the stock. (B) Italian Moschetto Model 1891 carbine for Special Troops, manufactured by Brescia, Italy. Carbine includes unusual bayonet with transverse locking system. Carbine is in very good condition with approximately 85% of the original finish remaining. Bayonet has been sharpened, and both scabbard and bayonet have about 30% of the original finish remaining. Bore is in excellent condition.
