These were the Cadillac of the Colt pre-war line. Each revolver had hand-fitted action, target front and rear sights, fully checkered backstrap, checkered trigger, six shot, blued finish and exquisite silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips. This revolver appears to have been fired once or twice, a light drag line and a couple of spots of high edge wear; still retains 98% original finish. Comes in its original pre-war box with proper end label and numbered to gun. Includes ammunition flyer and special instructions. Box shows edge wear but is complete. These early Officer's Models are truly a masterpiece of production. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
