24 inch blackened stainless steel heavy barrel with 1 in 10 twist. Nation match front and rear sights. Pinned forearms for target shooting. Relieved rear hand guard for heat expansion. Stock fits very securely and glass bedding was not required. Polished and tuned hammer and sear for crisp light trigger release. This is all commercial work done by a very knowledgeable gunsmith or a former target armorer. Bore is excellent with bright and shiny bore with sharp rifling. Throat erosion measures 3 and muzzle 4. Exterior finish is very good as refinished, Stocks have also been refinished for target use. Comes with cotton M1 pattern sling.
