This lot includes a model 1891 Engineer carbine, and a 1895 rifle. (A) Argentinian 1891 carbine in 7.65mm and manufactured by Loewe, Berlin. Rifle is in near mint condition, with 95% of its original finish. Barrel, receiver, bolt and trigger guard are matching, and stock has a different number stamped on the right side. Bore is in excellent condition and stock has the original finish with very few dings and scattered marks. (B) Argentinian Model 1895 rifle in 7mm manufactured by Loewe, Berlin. Rifle is in excellent condition with 85% of the original finish, and a very good bore. Barrel, stock, bolt, receiver and trigger guard assemble are all matched. Walnut stock is in excellent with a couple dings and addition stamp on left rear of stock with crest and date of 1895.
