Lot contains 3 military service rifles. (A) Austrian Steyr M1895 carbine in 8 x 56R. Receiver, barrel, and stock are matching, but bolt is mismatched. Rifle is in fair condition with freckling throughout. Barrel is dark with areas of freckling. Walnut stock has several deep and light dings. (B) German Mauser Gewehr 88 rifle made by Steyr in Austria in 1890. Receiver, barrel, and trigger guard are matching, but bolt is mismatched. German military unit marking is present on left side of front band. Rifle is in fair condition with numerous areas of freckling throughout. Bore is dark with freckling. Walnut stock has numerous dings with 3 military cartouches on right rear. (C) Italian Vetterli Model 1880 rifle in 6.5mm. Receiver and stock have matching numbers; other parts are not numbered. Rifle is in poor condition with little original finish remaining. Walnut stock has numerous dings with a 3"crack on the left side under the receiver. A repair to the stock is present on the left side near the magazine.
