The 101 Series was introduced by High Standard in 1954. This pistol appears to be unfired in original box with all the liners and comes with the original 4 - 1/4" Field-King barrel and an extra Supermatic barrel on frame. Supermatic 101 was the top of the line in this series. Features click adjustable rear sights, blued finish, and thumbrest brown composite grips. Includes one magazine in pistol and another still wrapped in wax paper. The 4 - 1/2" barrel is stamped "FIELD KING" and is not serial numbered. The 101 Series was retired in late 1957 with the introduction of the Series 102 in 1958. Even the box is near mint and numbered to gun.
