Introduced in November of 1931 it is a six shot double action revolver built on the square butt N frame with five screw and pinned barrel. Matching numbers on barrel, cylinder and stamped on right grip. Approximately 4,761 manufactured 1931 to 1941. Features a Marble target front sight, round frame, target rear sight, patent date, case colored humpback hammer, case colored trigger and silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips. The cylinder has a drag line and overall high edge wear. Trigger guard has some freckling and there is some light high edge wear on frame and muzzle. Still retains 90% Smith & Wesson high polish factory blue. Grips are very good to excellent. Generous amounts of case colors. Indexes correctly both single and double action. Strong, clean bore.
